Downloader app firestick IPTV

The Downloader app is how you get an IPTV player onto an Amazon Fire TV Stick, because the Amazon Appstore carries almost none. You enter a short code or URL, Downloader fetches the player's installer, and Fire OS installs it. There is no 4KUSATV app — you install a third-party player this way, then sign in with your 4KUSATV login.

One-time Fire OS setting

  1. Install 'Downloader' from the Fire TV Appstore (search from the home screen).
    → Downloader appears in Your Apps & Channels.
  2. Go to Settings -> My Fire TV -> Developer options -> Install unknown apps, and turn it ON for Downloader.
    → Downloader is now allowed to install apps.

On older Fire OS this is Settings -> My Fire TV -> Developer options -> Apps from Unknown Sources. If Developer options is hidden, open Settings -> My Fire TV -> About and click the build number seven times.

Install a player

  1. Choose a player that runs on Fire OS — IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate are the common choices.
    → You have a player in mind before you open Downloader.
  2. Open Downloader, select the URL field, and enter that player's own Downloader code or download URL (each player app publishes its own).
    → Downloader resolves it and starts the download.
  3. When it finishes, choose Install, then Open.
    → The player launches to a login screen.
  4. Delete the downloaded file when Downloader offers to — it is only the installer.
    → Storage is freed; the player stays installed.

Then sign in

Enter the Xtream Codes or M3U login from your 4KUSATV trial or subscription email. You can install more than one player the same way and use the same login in each. Most orders are activated within minutes; every order is activated within one business day of a completed payment.
