Information we handle

Account and order data: the email address you provide for a trial or purchase, your chosen plan and connection count, and the device type you tell us about. Payment card details are entered on the payment processor's secure page and are not stored by this site.

Support data: the contents of messages you send to support, including any troubleshooting details you choose to share.

Site data: standard server logs, and Google Analytics, which records how pages are used — pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, the kind of device, and which buttons are clicked. It runs by default, and you can switch it off for your browser at any time in the privacy controls below.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles from your viewing.

Why we use it

To create and activate your subscription, deliver login details, provide support, prevent fraud and credential abuse, meet legal obligations, and to understand which pages are useful so the site can be improved.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: the payment processor that handles billing, the email provider that delivers account messages, hosting infrastructure, and Google Analytics for site measurement. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Processors act on instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Retention and security

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet tax, accounting and dispute-resolution needs, then deleted or anonymised.

Access to personal data is restricted to people who need it to operate the service, and transport is encrypted.

Cookies and analytics

Two kinds of storage are used. Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working and your choices remembered. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits and see which pages lead to an enquiry.

Analytics is on by default. You can turn it off for this browser with the control below, which also deletes the analytics cookies already set. Your choice is remembered on this device; clearing site data resets it.

No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels are used, and analytics data is never used to build an advertising profile of you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Residents of Québec, other Canadian provinces and US states with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide, including the right to complain to a regulator.
