Fix: IPTV freezing
Fix: IPTV freezing (picture freezes then resumes/skips). Work through the checks in order — each one tells you whether to stop or move to the next. Most cases are the connection between your device and the internet, the stream quality, or server load at a busy time.
Fast checks, in order
- Start hereWatch which channels freeze — one channel, or all of them?→ One channel only → a feed problem; report it with the channel name and time. All channels → continue.
- Raise the player buffer to 20–30 seconds (freezing is usually the buffer running dry, not raw speed).→ The brief pause-then-skip stops. If not, continue.
- Switch the device to wired Ethernet, or move it closer to the router.→ Freezing stops → Wi-Fi packet loss was the cause. If not, continue.
- Speed-test on the device at the time it freezes; look at jitter, not just the peak number.→ High jitter with an OK average → the line is unstable; fix Wi-Fi/ISP. If jitter is low, continue.
- Try the same channel 30–60 minutes later.→ Freezes only at peak time → server load. Send support the channel and time.
