How many IPTV connections do i need
The number of connections you need is the maximum number of screens that might play 4KUSATV at the same moment — not the number of devices you own. Two TVs that are never on together still only need one connection; two that watch different things at once need two.
Work it out
| Your household | Screens at once (worst case) | Connections to buy |
|---|---|---|
| One person, one screen | 1 | 1 |
| Couple, sometimes two rooms | 2 | 2 |
| Family, kids watch separately | 3 | 3 |
| Big household / different tastes | 4 | 4 |
| Large home, or you travel and watch away too | 5-6 | 5-6 |
You can always start at 1 for the trial and a first month, then move up a tier at renewal if you keep hitting the limit.
What counts as a connection
- Any device actively playing a stream — live or VOD — uses one connection while it plays.
- A paused or closed app releases its connection (fully close it; some keep it open in the background).
- The same login works on every device; only concurrent playback is limited.

If you want to try IPTV rather than read about it, the 24-hour trial needs no payment card and runs the full service on a device you already own.
